6 Month Checkup

Marley is chubby. That is one reason why I love her so much! As of today Marley weighs 16lbs and her height is 26 inches. She is in the 75th percentile for both of those. I guarantee her chubbiness has nothing to do with the fact that she gets fed 4oz every hour on the hour when I am at work and nothing to do with genetics, what do you think?

I just wanna eat her cheeks!

I think in this picture she is looking at Richard. Any time he is in the room she stares at him and won't take her eyes of him. I wonder why.

Birthday Treats

Those of you who know me well know that I am not that crafty...however, I do take direction well. Under Maile's direction I helped put together these lovely cookie flower pots for Kalei to take as her Birthday treat for preschool. And by helped I mean I put the flowers on the stick...and that's pretty much it! They turned out so cute so I was trying to think of what I could make one for. So when I got home I asked Ben if he wanted me to make one for him to take to school for Valentines Day and his reply was "Julie, I am not in grade school anymore." So I guess that's a no,sad.

The middle pot was for her to pass out to her classmates and the two little ones were for her teachers.

Daddy Daughter Date

So the other day Ben ventured out with Marley and went to the zoo with the Young's and my Mommy. They had a fabulous time. Hats off to Ben, this was the first time he has taken Marley out of the house while watching her...and he doesn't look stressed!

Game Day

For those of you who haven't ever played Settlers of Catan, so sad. It is a family favorite and we try to play it most Sunday nights. It is always a fun night with ample amount of sugar products. Justin is always the banker and pretty much always wins...coincidence, I think not.

Guilty Pleasures

Okay so yesterday at work for some reason Britney's song "Gimme More" was in my head all day and the song eventually made its way out of my mouth "Gimme Gimme Moaw Gimme Moaw Gimme Gimme Moaw" and we all laughed about it and I was embarrassed....nonetheless, this morning first thing I downloaded it on my itunes along with another one of her sorry songs and did my cardio to it. And it is now a favorite song...so there you have it!

Okay..so here is my blog, so far. It probably would have been a good idea for me to pay or beg somebody to put this together for me because I have spent entirely too much time on it and I am still trying to figure stuff out. I feel like I should get some college credit for all my work! Anyhow, WELCOME to my blog about our little Peay family.

So a little info on our family....
First and foremost our little Marley girls! She is my 6 month old little chubby bunny and I just love her! Most of my posts and pictures will most likely be of her b/c nobody wants to see my mug!
Benny, he is my husband. He is fabulous and in graduate school right now for Occupational Therapy and will be done this summer, yay!
Me, Jules, I am alive and well...I think. I am currently working as a nurse and enjoying squeezing Marley's cheeks on my days off!
